Kits ship to addresses in the United States. Your kit will be shipped within 1–2 business days of your order, to the shipping address entered at checkout, and we email you when your kit is on its way.
Shipping both ways is included. Your order email includes a prepaid USPS return label; reuse the envelope your kit came in, seal it with packing tape and tape the new label over the old one.
Please double-check your shipping address before you pay. Your order confirmation email shows the address we’ll ship to. If anything is wrong, reply to that email right away.
If your kit has already shipped to the wrong address, use “Wrong shipping address?” on the tracking page. We can send you another kit at an updated address for a $15 shipping fee, which you pay there.
Once the lab has your swabs, results take up to 3 business days. We post them as soon as the lab finishes. Timing can run longer around holidays or if sample details are missing. We email you when your results are posted, and you can view them anytime on the tracking page with your order email and order number.
Every kit comes with our guide, The Practical Guide to Mold & Moisture, at no extra charge. You read it online at moldheadquarters.com, starting as soon as you order: the link is in your order email and on the tracking page (with your order email and order number). Access is for your personal use. If an order is canceled before it ships, guide access ends.
You can cancel your order for a full refund any time before your kit ships. On the tracking page, enter your order email and order number and tap Request cancellation, or reply to your order confirmation email. We start preparing your order as soon as you place it and kits ship within 1–2 business days, so please ask as soon as you can. We refund the full amount to your original payment method, and refunds usually show on your statement within 5–10 business days.
Once your kit has shipped, all sales are final and we don’t accept returns.
Please mail your swabs back within 90 days of delivery. After that, the prepaid return label and lab analysis included with your kit are no longer guaranteed. For the best results, mail your swabs within a few days of swabbing.
If something in your kit arrives damaged or missing, email us within 14 days of delivery.
